Denise Hanaphy-Shearer. Manager Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre
Denise took up her position as Manager of the Daylesford Neighbourhood Centre (DNC) sixteen months ago after working in the TAFE sector
Denise along with the ARC Sub Committee oversees the everyday operations of the ARC.
She says: It has been a terrific experience watching the ARC transform itself over the last sixteen months from a cold and under-utilised facility into a space that is warm, welcoming and showing positive signs of increased community participation.

I’m confident that I speak for all staff and committee members when I say that we optimistically look forward to the future of the ARC/DNC – in which we all will strive to strengthen our engagement with the community, build on the established partnerships with The Hepburn Shire Council and The Daylesford Secondary College and consolidate our relationships with existing stakeholders and user groups.
The ARC/DNC team never loses sight of the fact that the ARC belongs to the community of Hepburn and we take this fact with us as we move forward in an effort to develop new relationships with potential stakeholders and user groups - a strategy intended to provide us with a better understand of how the residents of Hepburn would like this wonderful community asset used to better enhance their lifestyles both immediately and long into the future.
